Historic Origins, Transformed

7130 Granby Street in Norfolk, Virginia has been a cornerstone of the community since 1954, when it began its legacy as the first Norfolk Christian Elementary School. In 2000, it transitioned into the home for Beth Messiah Synagogue and continued to provide a place of gathering until 2021.

Now, it’s undergoing a new transformation – embracing a new paradigm, if you will – as a midcentury-modern apartment complex, offering contemporary living spaces while retaining its historic charm. The unique transformation of this building highlights the building’s ability to adapt and serve, while maintaining its connection to the community.

The Owners/Management

Paradigm Apartments is a family project through and through. The four of us took on the challenge of transforming 7130 Granby Street into a vibrant, welcoming home, and now we’re proud to manage this 13-unit community ourselves.

With the help of our valued partners and tenants, we are able to build a community that we truly care about, and we have so much appreciation for the patience and support we are given as we continue to grow and improve.
